Before we became Shopify experts, we built and ran retail businesses. We know what it's like to be in your shoes—late nights, inventory headaches, tech frustrations, and figuring out how to make every sale count.
Our Story
We started in retail, not consulting.
Our first business was a pop-up shop marketplace for online-only brands. We managed to scale it up, earned backing from Silicon Valley's Y Combinator, and gave independent brands access to affordable physical storefronts. Then COVID hit—and physical retail stopped overnight.
So we adapted. We built an online store marketplace to support our retail partners, learned ecommerce the hard way, and even developed our own Shopify app to support buy-online-pick-up workflows. Along the way, we worked with hundreds—eventually close to a thousand—brands.
That's when the calls started.
About broken setups, messy Shopify stores, and systems that didn't match how real retail actually works.
We saw the same pattern over and over: independent retailers trying to compete with big-box players using tools that weren't designed for them—and support that didn't understand their reality.
So we decided to focus on helping retailers get their tech right.
Over the past decade, we've run retail businesses across pop-ups, online stores, and permanent locations. We've migrated nearly 100 Shopify stores, all with a 5-star track record. We know what it's like to manage inventory during peak season, fix issues under pressure, and make tech decisions when cash flow actually matters.
Most retail tech is built by people who've never worked a register or handled a system change mid-season. We have—and that experience shapes everything we do.
